Game Description

Glitchy is trapped in an Underground Cavern! It will take nerves of steel to navigate the treacherous caves.

 Glitchy will need to collect Magic Crystals to give him the strength to elude the bats, spiders, and booby traps that lie ahead.  Glitchy can alter his Jumpspeed, Walkspeed, Max Jumps, and Gravity with Magic Scrolls.  You can find the Magic Scrolls hidden in the caves, or buy them with Magic Crystals in between levels.

It's dark in the caves so Glitchy will need to find candles to light his path. The candles only last so long, so you will have to move quickly before they extinguish and you are left in the dark.

Glitchy's Magic Crystals will float around him and act as a protective barrier from all of the enemies in the caves. The Magic Shield will give Glitchy a Special Attack when he jumps. While the Magic Potion will make Glitchy invincible for a short time.

Controls

The Controls for the game are quite Simple. WASD,  Arrows, or Controller!!

The Cursor is super fun too!!

Strategy

The Player Stats reveal that you can change the player's internal coding by collecting scrolls. Either by finding them or buying them with crystals, in between levels. This allows for a different strategy every time you play.

In Game Menu

The In Game Menu has lots of control. End Game, Restart, Pause, Song Choice, Volume, and Player's Current Status.

Glitchy McNinja came from a gamejam entry a few years ago. Then it kinda just got bigger and more complex. I created all the art and sound by myself and eventually I came to a point where I had to stop. I felt this was a great place to seek feedback and check for interest. Maybe some day there will be another version, until then enjoy my game!!
